Rebellious Remix showcasing a remix of mash-up videos and other materials from across the web. The material posted is mostly deemed critical or satirical by the creators but not too far from the reality of truth in most cases, that's why it's been posted in the Rebellious Remix section of this site.

The Rebellious Remix Blog contains material that are critical or satirical works of art focusing on political, social, cultural or economic topics and created by remixing corporate intellectual property and/or appropriated footage generally without the permission of the copyright holder.

A key component of the work is that it’s frequently highly critical of the source content and source media itself, whereas several other types of remix often, but not always, celebrate the source media. For that reason The Rebellious Remix is particularly dangerous for the creators. Not only is it remixed without permission but since it is critical of (or making fun of) the source media it is also likely to anger the copyright holder as well.

Much of the Rebellious Remix Material “should” be classified as Fair-Use in accordance with Title 17 U.S.C. Section 107.
